We picked this hotel because it had free parking and no resort fee.
We had a rental car during our stay as we also enjoy traveling to Laughlin and we hotel hop.
Since most hotels in Las Vegas have gone to paid parking - traveling there with a car is no longer attractive. While the parking was free, it was Valet parking, no self parking.
Hotel/Casino food (at several establishments) was both tasteful and reasonable. Our room on the 11 floor was clean, good size, but street noisy.
Without personal transportation, travel to "the strip" is inconvenient.
This is a budget casino but the staff was friendly, one good restaurant, one great restaurant, a Sub Way and a Dunkin Donuts. But the major plus is that it is located in Downtown Las Vegas at the main intersection with good casinos on every corner and in the middle of the "Fremont Street Experience." No matter where you stay in Las Vegas this is a must see even if only for a day!
And Café, featuring a weekend champagne brunch, is also available.
Various other restaurants are located at the hotel for guests' enjoyment.
A 24-hour reception welcomes guests to Fremont Hotel and Casino.
The spacious lobby features high ceilings, modern decor and lounge seating.
Sands Expo and Convention Center is 10 minutes’ drive from the hotel. Couples in particular like the location – they rated it 8.3 for a two-person trip.
This property is also rated for the best value in Las Vegas!
